This USB Extender unit includes a transmitter and receiver set. The transmitter is placed next to your computer and the receiver is placed next to your VGA Monitor and USB keyboard/mouse. The signal extension is over a single UTP Cat5e/6 cable. This USB KVM Extender, USBEXT-984 has local access so that users can connect a local VGA monitor and USB keyboard/mouse right next to the PC in addition to a remote user up to 984 away.
